Reflection
While recording I managed to practice how to post higher quality videos. This was via learning new camera angles, shots, etc. I learned a lot about how to properly use editing software like Capcut. Since I never used this technology before extensively, I feel like I can use it now for projects on my own. I learned also how to edit clips together without it seeming like a rough cut with transitions. The best one I found was a simple fade out and fade back in. I also used capcut to cut out parts of the video. I didn't like. Since I had to get my little brother to record the video, I learned how to manage audio properly, so it didn't sound rough. While putting the project together I learned how to manage time properly between each scene, so I don't spend too much time with the same background. I do this by putting in cuts every once in a while. This is to prevent a single overly long take that if I mess up, I have to redo the whole thing. Instead, I can redo only one small section and spend half the time on it. This helps me manage my time properly and makes the video higher quality. I can use these skills on future projects to make less mistakes and finisher faster. I will be able to continue overtime to practice my editing and camera skills further. Next time I can try to make my editing better than and make my cuts less rough. Ill also try to use a better recorder for my project so there will be less mistakes. I'll probably find a better area to record as well likely outside so the background is more vibrant. I can also use better lighting editing effects, so the background is better colored or less distracting depending on the situation. I can also buy a better camera stand so the recording can be less choppy. Another good thing I can change is find better lighting for my recording so it's less distracting. The last thing I will change is the recording device I use as next time I will use my mother's camera.
