Reflection

While recording I managed to practice how to post higher quality videos. This was via learning new camera angles, shots, etc. I learned a lot about how to properly use editing software like Capcut. Since I never used this technology before extensively, I feel like I can use it now for projects on my own. I learned also how to edit clips together without it seeming like a rough cut with transitions. The best one I found was a simple fade out and fade back in. I also used capcut to cut out parts of the video. I didn't like. Since I had to get my little brother to record the video, I learned how to manage audio properly, so it didn't sound rough. While putting the project together I learned how to manage time properly between each scene, so I don't spend too much time with the same background. I do this by putting in cuts every once in a while. This is to prevent a single overly long take that if I mess up, I have to redo the whole thing. Instead, I can redo only one small se

While I review over everything I plan to do and what I don't plan to do my final checks will mostly involve watching out for errors. These errors may include things such as image embed failures, Audio distortions, etc. This final check won't take too long to finish, and it will mean that the commercial is my best effort. If I do notice any of these errors, they are simple fixes. For image embed failures I can just use a different image entirely or try to re post it quickly. However, fixing audio distortions will be a little harder as that will require me to use a decent editing tool to get out any distortions. I can probably achieve this by changing the tone of the voice or adding an ai voice over. Since the commercial will only be 60 seconds it will be a lot easier to keep track of all the audio and making sure everything is tuned properly. The only way that audio issues would occur is if the port from my camera to my computer messes up. If I can't fix an error at all I w

While doing the audio I will make sure all the audio flows cleanly through scenes. For example, instead of abruptly ending scenes I will transition with a sound effect. This will be done to prevent confusion between scenes and to give the watcher a second to compose themselves for new information. Transition sounds will range from simple wind wooshes to maybe a fade out sound. I will also manage the dialogue by making sure nothing is too loud or quiet. I will make sure to keep the sound consistent throughout the commercial, so it doesn't feel poor quality. I may also use some other non-diegetic sounds such as birds chirping to drown out any wind noises or any other background noise. If I do have any jump cuts throughout the commercial, I will make sure the sound isn't distorted or anything changes as to prevent awkwardness. During any dialogue that requires more explanation not provided during the scene; I will provide voice overs specifically to explain scenes further. I also

I will use my camera to take some shot in different angles primarily being close-ups and wide shots. Close ups will be used whenever I need to display emotion from me. Especially if I need to make the scene more dramatic or flashier. Wide shots will be used when I want to emphasize the size or complexity of a background. I will also edit these wide shots to add images and other things to demonstrate what I am talking about. For example, if I am talking about my home country I might edit in a picture of the flag or a national monument. I will also try to edit the background to be vibrant and colorful, so the watcher wants to pay attention to the background while also watching me. However, with close-ups I will focus more on blurring the background as not to distract the watcher. This is to make certain that everything I state is being listened to and the background is not seen as a distraction. Besides those two shots I will also use things like medium shots for more generic things dur

To start with my commercial, I was planning to use apps like Capcut to edit it. This is mainly to fix any sort of lighting issues, audio issues, and add filters. This is all to make my commercial smoother so all the content flows together easily. For audio issues I will try to either cut out parts or if I can try to use a voice filter to fix any sort of muffled audio.  I can also use Capcut to scan through the video before submission so I make sure it's as best quality as I can make it be. I'll also add filters in certain areas to make people or places brighter so nothing in the background distracts from the main content. It's also important for me to add good transitions into the jump cuts so it's more professional looking. While reviewing my commercial I will double check all the audio, edits I added, the quality, and lighting. To prevent any audio issues while recording I will try to do all audio indoors to prevent wind noises, background voices, etc. Edits may not

When I am deciding what pictures or content in general, I want for my commercial I think of it being entertaining as possible. I try to look for pictures with vibrant colors that will catch the attention of watchers. I would also try to keep with current trends as too not seem out of touch and up to date with what people want to see. I will try to pick songs from artist that are currently popular but also relevant with the feeling I am trying to get the watcher to feel. The videos will be relevant to the topic, but they will also be as entertaining as possible to avoid the video being boring. I can try to incorporate my commercial with current memes or trends going on to make it seem more relevant. The main thing I focus on for photos is making sure they haven't been used before in other commercials. This is to avoid any risk of plagiarism and make my commercial more unique. This process will also be used for videos but only depending on which video I use. For example, if I use a

Hello, my name is Mario born on November 15th, 2007. I am not originally from America and was born of the country of El Salvador. English has always been a bit of a struggle for me since I am a native Spanish speaker but with practice I’ve got better. El Salvador is a huge sports country, so I’ve always been a soccer player playing all the time with friends and family. Coming to America for the first time I was fascinated by the amount of technology and got hooked on computers. Sometimes I would write entire blogs on my computer that no one would read just for fun. Being a technology fan, I would always like playing video games and sometimes would compete in tournaments. I’ve progressed a lot academically going from classes that provided additional aid to advanced classes. I always loved America for the delicious food they would have from various different cultures I would have never seen. However, I don’t like how divided America seems at times over things that barely even affect the
