Production blog music - FT

We finally decided on using royalty free music. It would prevent copyright but also keep the film scary. Since music is almost a necessity in horror movies. The only films with no music are very old were technology wasn’t available. After picking our music we fnaf to pick on when we should add it throughout. As stated in an early editing blog it all depended on the scenes themselves. Some scenes shouldn’t have music at all. Since it’s supposed to be a vlog and most vlogs don’t have music. We will add music when it’s the camera looking at the killer for example. Or even when the characters are running. We will had the suspenseful music in the correct situations. If we add them in the wrong situations it will change the feeling of the scene for the worst. We don’t want a scene that is supposed to be a neutral feeling to be scary. Afterwards we will add a scene that prevents the characters from escaping. Showing the killers relentlessness we will use fast pace music. Fast pace music is necessary in keeping up with the killer. Most horror movies with real time killers will have fast paced music as well. Since most of the time the killers have a shock value that quickly goes away. So they have to utilize this fear quickly and effectively. This will make our film better and more scary overall.
